   Market infrastructure as the basis for growth of competitiveness of the agricultural economy of Russia

The aim of the study was to analyze and study the current state of the market infrastructure and competitiveness of the agricultural sector of the Russian economy. The results revealed that the slow process of innovation and formation of the market infrastructure in the agricultural sector was due to the presence of certain problems in this industry. These include: adverse demographic situation, high unemployment, rural poverty, continued decline in the quality of life in rural areas, the low level of household and housing conditions, etc.
Based on the analysis and synthesis of the above-noted problems, the causes of their occurrence were determined. The basic conditions for creation and development of market structures that will enhance the competitiveness of the agricultural sector of our economy were developed. An efficient and competitive agricultural sector will be able to grant a new status to the agrarian economy of our country on the international level.

   New types of planning decisions as a potential way to improve housing affordability

This article deals with the problem of housing non-affordability for great masses of population. It contains an analysis of prices per square meter in the major cities of the Russian Federation and comparison of sales of apartments in Europe and Russia, depending on the number of rooms. A potential option to solve the problem using studio apartments is proposed. There is also an analysis of the main consumers for this type of housing. The basic positive and negative aspects of this sort of layout are determined, the economic feasibility of introduction of low-income housing into the mass market is shown.

Development of institutions of public-private partnership in the Russian Federation and the regions gives hope for acceleration of development of projects to improve urban infrastructure. In these circumstances, special attention should be paid to creation of a fundamentally new structure of cities. Transparency and regimentation of the protocol for coordination between the parties at all stages of implementation of joint infrastructure projects will increase the investment attractiveness of modernization projects of such innovation infrastructure.

   Elaboration of a typology of Russian regions on the basis of Kohonen’s self-organizing maps

The article is concerned with elaboration of typologies of Russian regions based on implementing the author’s “technique for analysis of factors and assessment of the potential of self-development of the regional socio-economic systems” in order to separate regions in terms of their socio-economic development and to conduct comparative regional analysis. As result, 4 typologies were created and only a few regions, which are well financially supported, were made known, while one of the other typologies has industrial and agricultural perspectives.

   Institutional features of implementation of the regional cluster policy

The article considers the features of implementation of cluster policy in the Republic of Mordovia. The quality of the institutional environment in the region in terms of the impact of cluster policy was studied. The system of strategic planning and the instruments for achieving the goals and solving the problems, facing the region, were characterized.    Assessment of the resources status of construction companies based on their business activities

In the article, the questions devoted to management of the processes happening in the environment of the enterprise are considered. All these processes have to be followed by competent and effective management for the purpose of the subsequent use of the available resources of the enterprise. Thus certain conditions for economic balance which could lead to increase of business activity of the construction enterprise have to be created.
The article examines the relationship between the resources and business activity of an enterprise, as well as the influence of various factors on the level of business activity, taking into account the life cycle. The author shows that it is necessary to manage business activities based on extensive and intensive factors. Measures to stabilize the financial condition of an enterprise and improve its financial stability, the level of business activities have been formulated.

The article is devoted to e-document flow used in the carriage of goods by sea in line shipping. Readers can familiarize themselves with an analysis of the provisions of international agreements, rules of national legislation and regulations developed by international organizations.
In terms of computerization of transport, development of legal regulation of electronic bills of lading and other electronic transport documents is a priority for the transport activity. The absence of common technical standards causes limitation of circulability of electronic bills of lading. The solution of this problem is seen in paying more attention to electronic bills of lading by its detailed legal regulation.

The article regards the dynamics of entrance and exit tourism in Russia in 2001–2013. The impact of income of Russian people and rate exchange on dynamics of tourist flow were evaluated on the basis of regression analysis. The article shows the impact of exit tourism on outflow of foreign currency from Russia and on real GDP.

   Differentiation strategy as a tool for improving the competitiveness of hotel facilities

The article presents the results of scientific study on the examination of differentiation strategy as a significant factor in improving the competitiveness of the hotel facilities. The author formulated the concept of differentiation strategy regarding a hotel facility. The main directions of differentiation in hotel business were considered, a mechanism for developing a differentiation strategy of hotel facilities in the spectrum of services was proposed. The conditions, necessary for the realization of the differentiation strategy, were identified.
