Abstract:We describe the situation in the Russian clothing market in 2015-2016. We give the description of trends in the men's and women’s clothing market. We describe the characteristics of consumer behavior of men and women in the clothing market, trends in changes in consumer behavior of clothing buyers during the income reduction. We give recommendations for regional trade organizations that work with men's and women's assortment of clothing on building marketing policy under the conditions of market decline and changes in consumer behavior.
