Improving the efficiency of poultry industry enterprises

Abstract:
The analysis of tendencies of development of the market of chicken egg and their influence on profitability of work of poultry farms of the egg direction is carried out. It is shown that in the conditions of monopoly power of retail chains, their price pressure on egg suppliers, as well as the growth of costs for the purchase of feed, the profitability of poultry farms is sharply reduced. The economic analysis of financial results of activity of poultry farm of the egg direction is carried out and key problems are defined. Contradictions between growth of production and size of profit of the enterprise, and also between decrease in prime cost and growth of profit are revealed. Negative consequences of standard ways of growth of profitability of activity of poultry farm at the expense of growth of volume of production and decrease in expenses are shown. The variants of growth of profitability of the enterprise due to increase of depth of processing of eggs, change of price policy of the enterprise, and also creation of new types of production are offered and quantitatively estimated.
