The boundaries and possibilities of using foreign approaches to modeling the relationship of macro-indicators and private direct investments dynamics in Russian conditions are considered. The results of the critical analysis to the study of the dynamics of private direct investment funds in the conditions of developed and developing markets (for example, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Western Europe) are very important for the economic realities of Russia.
