Abstract:The article presents the results of a study of the practice of implementation of energy saving measures and features of eco-friendly behavior of residents of apartment buildings. The study was conducted by in-depth interviews and evaluation of expert opinions of employees of the developer engaged in the construction of multi-apartment housing. The results show that there is still a significant difference in the attitude of consumers to their homes in the markets of apartments and individual houses. Buyers of apartments when choosing an object to buy, first of all, are guided by the price, location, infrastructure and reliability of the developer. Consumers of individual housing come from the environmental friendliness of its location, the optimal ratio of the quality of the object and the price, including taking into account the costs at the stage of operation. Eco-friendly behavior of residents of apartment buildings and individual dwellings is seriously different: in the first case, residents only at the start of this movement, and the second issues of economy occupy an important place in the living arrangement. The presented results can be used in the development of a strategy for the development of new territories.
